Panasonic flags two upmarket compacts

Panasonic has announced April availability of two upmarket compact cameras, the $1399 FZ1000 II, and the $699 TZ95 ‘Travel Zoom.’

 FZ1000 II features:

– 1-inch type 20.1-megapixel MOS sensor;
– 16x optical zoom Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens, with the minimum aperture extended to F11
– 4K Video (3840 x 2160) at 25p

TZ95 features:

– 30x optical zoom with stabilisation;
– 2.3 million-dot, 0.21-inch electronic viewfinder;
– 4K video;
– 180-degree tiltable rear monitor for selfie and group shots.
