In addition to the two 50-megapixel full frame DSLRs reported on elsewhere, Canon is set to announce a new mirrorless camera, the EOS M3, along with two enthusiast DSLRs, the EOS 750D and EOS 760D later today, if the crescendo of chatter on the internet is true.
The EOS M3 is a total re-design for Canon’s mirrorless representative. It has a textured grip which will better suit it to use with larger, heavier lenses. It also appears to have a pop-up flash.
According to Japanese website digicame-info.com, these are the specifications for the new camera:

The new enthusiast DSLRs are creating a lot of speculation and are perhaps less, what would you say, definitive. It could be that the 750D is an upgrade to the 700D, while the 760D is more along the lines of the 70D, with the same LCD on the top panel and rear quick control dial. Both cameras are reported to use a 24.2-megapixel sensor, a la the EOS M3.
According to Digicame-info, they also share an ISO range of 100-12,800, Full HD video recording, 5fps continuous shooting, Wi-Fi, NFC, and 19-cross-type AF points.
Canon is apparently scheduled to officially announce its products to be shown at CP+ late this afternoon, at which time we will find out how much of the purportedly ‘leaked’ information is actually true. (Canon might be a bit mifffed that Olympus beat them to the punch by announcing its new products a day earlier.) With the number of photos sloshing about the various Japanese and US camera blogs, someone has gone to an awful lot of trouble to hoax the public if, say, the 750D and 760D aren’t real releases. Almost as if it were a PR tactic to generate added interest in whatever it is that is being released…
