Fernando Alonso something something KodakOne

ICOx Innovations Inc, a ‘designer and creator of crypto economies’ (having moved on from its original gig designing and tailoring bespoke fashion for royalty), has pleasure in announcing that its client When Wenn Digital is delighted to announce that two-time Formula 1 World Champion driver, Fernando Alonso is ecstatic to announce something to do with his professional and personal images and videos.

Which is of course where Kodak comes in. When Wenn Digital has tied up the Kodak brand for cryptocurrencies and blockchain under the KodakCoin and KodakOne brands. It describes the KodakOne Platform as ‘an image rights management and protection platform secured in the blockchain’. Trouble is, it doesn’t actually exist. If and wenn it does, Wenn Digital says, it ‘will become the exclusive image registration, protection and license-monitoring solution for certain images and videos of Alonso – including currently archived items and images and videos taken in the future.’

Why? It’s all about the fans. The agreement will ‘provide an opportunity to Alonso’s global fanbase to access the to-be-launched KodakOne Platform – enabling them to not only upload, register and protect their own photos and videos of their favorite F1 driver, but be rewarded for doing so in certain instances.’ (What circumstances and what manner of reward we are free to ponder.)

Then Fernando himself jumps in as if he knew what he was talking about: ‘We live in a world driven by content distribution across different channels, especially during such large events as F1 and WEC.’ he commented after just winning the LeMans 24 hour endurance race. True that, Ferdie.

It’s the fans that count. And the professional photographers. Of course. ‘I’m very excited to know that I have the ability to reward my fans and professional photographers for their creativity, and that the content they produce can be protected by a single platform.’

Then there’s something vague about rewarding fans ‘for an array of products and services built around Alonso.’

Then the Wenn Digital CEO says how delighted he is that Alonso is working with them to ‘secure his global image rights.’

‘His trust in our platform further validates what we stand for,’ he said, begging the question of what exactly it is that Wenn Digtial does stand for.

The the IOCx Innovations CEO throws his delight into the bubbling pot of joy, and underscores how he wants to create crypto currencies that have a real impact in the world.

And then we are left to wonder. ‘What Does It All Mean?’
