Eizo runs Orpheus Island promotion

June 8, 2011: Purchasers of Eizo monitors in Australia prior to July 10 are in the running to win a trip to the annual Orpheus Island Fine Art Photography workshop, August 28 to September 2, 2011.

Presented by Les Walkling, this workshop is  a full five-day, all-inclusive experience designed for photographers. The Orpheus Research Station, run by James Cook University, is a first-class teaching facility in a tropical island surrounded by coral reefs.

It provides unique opportunities to snorkel, bushwalk and beachcomb – and take advantage of the photographic potential of this special area.

Orpheus Island Fine Art Photography workshops are accredited by the AIPP and have been rated as among the best learning experiences in Australia. This year, AIPP Master of Photography, Darren Jew, will be lecturing alongside Les and sharing his expertise with participants. Mr Jew is a photographer, author and Ambassador for the World Wildlife Fund.

Each workshop includes lectures, demonstrations and presentations during the morning, backed up with hands-on photography after lunch and into the evening. The demonstrations will cover the latest equipment and involve sharing knowledge and materials to stimulate photographic creativity. A half-day boat trip to nearby Yank’s Jetty and Fantome Island is included in the program. Participants will also enjoy gourmet catering by internationally-renowned chefs, with evening meals under the stars by the beach.

To enter, simply purchase any Eizo LCD Monitor from an Eizo Oceania Creative Graphics dealer before close of business on July 10, 2011 and complete the online entry form. The winner will be notified on July 13.

With prices starting at $700, there are models to suit artists at all levels, from serious imaging enthusiasts to high-level graphics professionals who demand the very best in viewing quality.
