And the TIPA goes to…

April 28, 2010: The European Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) has announced its annual awards for 2010.

Voted for by editors and technical editors from the 28 member photo magazines from Europe, Canada, South Africa and the US, the awards cover all major imaging product categories – and then some!

The Award categories this year were updated to include two new categories. ‘Best Compact System Camera (CSC) Advanced’ and ‘Best Compact System Camera (CSC) Entry Level’ were established to represent the new generation of cameras with interchangeable lenses that have been launched in the past year to separate those cameras with incorporated electronic viewfinders from those without.
