Sharp prices for printers, lighting gear

We reported last March on the death at the far too early age of 69 of much loved and respected industry identity Geoff Fernance, who with his wife Stell ran Gosford photo lab True Living Colour.

Stella, with the help of her son continued on with the business but when the lease expired in February decided to call it a day. A wise move as it turned out, as businesses have since been forced to close in response to the Coronavirus.

‘Geoff was the business, really, and without his passion business started to drop off,’ said Stella.

As a consequence of the closure, Stella has some printing gear on sale at good prices, namely a Kodak duplex DL2100 dye sub printer along with extra toner and printing consummables for just $1400; and a Canon 24-inch PRO2000 wide-format printer, still under manufacturer’s warranty, along with some extra ink and paper for just $3000 – around half the cost of a new unit.

Both these items are listed in our Marketplace section. Stella will also be posting some Kodak kiosks and 6800 printers next week. In the meantime, you can follow up by calling her on 0407003358.

There’s also a great bargain to be had for anyone looking for studio lights: A full professional portrait studio/product lighting set-up (Elinchrom/Manfrotto/Prolinca) with all the accessories for a crazy $500 – probably about a tenth of what it’s worth.

…And talking of our Marketplace, it could be a great time, given you aren’t one of those rare individuals who are still flat out, to do a bit of a spring clean and clear out all those bits and pieces which are surplus to requirements. Listing in our Marketplace is free, easy and DIY.
