Nikon Z6, Z7 upgrades this month

Nikon has confirmed it will announce (modest) upgrades to the Nikon Z6 and Z7 on October 15, Australian time.
According to the Nikon Rumors website, the Z6 II and Z7 II will run with the same 24 and 45.7-megapixel sensors as the originals, with the same EVFs and same overall body shape. So very modest upgrades! They will, however, have higher RRPs.

B&H already has the Z6 II and Z7 II on pre-order.

Once again, according to Nikon Rumors, the new cameras will have:
– Improved AF (Face/eye/animal detection);
– Dual Expeed processors;
– Nikon EN-EL15c battery;
– USB charging;
– Dual memory card slots: CFexpress and SD (XQD/CFX type B, SD-UHS-II);
– Faster frame rate;
– More buffer memory;
– 4k 60p video and more video features;
– Improved user interface;
– Support for vertical grip with release button/controls (optional accessory).
