Insta360 has launched an ‘Enterprise Edition’ version of its One X 360-degree camera with in-camera stitching and a range of integrated third-party platforms like Matterport, Kuula, 3DVista, Cupix, StructionSite, OpenSpace and HoloBuilder for shooting virtual tours and other professional content.
The Insta360 One X combines 5.7K 360 video and 18MP 360 photo capabilities in a compact package. In the Enterprise Edition firmware unlocks in-camera stitching, while the auto HDR function delivers rich colours ‘straight off the camera.’ Insta360’s digital stabilisation keeps content stable and reduces motion blur. A mobile app or desktop software provides a powerful editing suite post-shoot.
The One X can be hand-held or mounted on a tripod or selfie stick. It also has a removable battery which can be replaced on the go. The Enterprise Edition also comes with a silicon protective lens cap.
The Insta360 One Enterprise Edition provides access to the free One X software development kit (SDK) via download.
The Enterprise Edition kit including the Insta360 One X camera, Selfie Stick, All-Purpose Tripod, and 32GB MicroSD Card is for sale via online order from the US for $799. Inst 360 claims that’s with GST included. A local alternative would be wiser. Local distributor is the EE Group, which has a list of retailers on its website.
