Some of the country’s best professional photographers and video producers will gather at Royal Randwick Racecourse this weekend for the 2019 Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA) and the Australian Video Producer Awards (AVPA).
These awards attract photographers and video producers from across the country who attend to watch the print and video judging and visit the accompanying tradeshow.
The tradeshow features 21 leading suppliers in the photographic industry, from camera equipment, photographic accessories and printing suppliers. The weekend will feature prizes and give-aways, inspirational speakers, a print auction and a Video Business Master Class from industry experts.
The awards judging concludes Monday with an exclusive wrap-up party at Coogee Pavilion for APPA and APVP attendees. The national category winners, the 2019 Australian Professional Photographer and Australian Professional Video Producer of the Year will be announced Tuesday evening at a Gala Dinner at The Randwick Ballroom.
The AIPP is dedicated to advancing professional photography within Australia while enhancing the skill and knowledge of photographers. The annual Australian Professional Photography Awards is an industry highlight and is free to attend.
