Brands Australia has added Blackbolt, which makes a range of action camera accessories, to its portfolio.
First two products in the Blackbolt range to reach Australia are a suction cap which sticks to both flat and curved surfaces – such as a helmet – and a motorised panning head.
The Blackbolt BA10 and BA15 (BA10 with mounting screw and connector) suction caps enable actioncam shooters to re-position the camera on a helmet or anywhere else at will – a superior solution to permanently positioned adhesive patches, etc. They weigh around 35g and have a diameter of 6cm. They have a holding weight of just under 7Kg (15lbs).
Maintenance is simply a matter of washing the cap with tapwater and soap.
The Blackbolt BA20 and BA25 (BA20 with BA15 suction cap) battery-powered panning head expands the scope of an action camera. It offers three speeds and rotates a full 360 degrees or otherwise can turn in a shorter range as required. It can be mounted to a tripod or any 1/4-inch thread mount and can be used in combination with the Blackbolt suction cap.
