Short Exposures: July 11

Connected disconnects…New Tamron lenses…Improved ExpoDisc available…

Connected disconnects
Consumer electronics trade news website Connected Australia has folded.

The reason management gave for the closure was ‘deep changes to the nature of the appliance retailing business over recent years that have made an intensive news service such as Connected unviable.’

Camera House general manager PaulShearer was acknowledged in the closure announcement as a supporter of the website.

Owner Claire Moffat intends to now ‘focus on the growth and development of the Connecting To Women business’.
