At the IDEA AGM held in mid-November, Ryan Williams (Leica Australia) joined the IDEA board, while Steuart Meers (Photo Direct) and Jason McLean (Canon) chose not to continue in their director’s roles.
One director’s position remained vacant at the AGM and may be filled at a later date.
The key roles of president, James Murray (Nikon) vice-president, Consumer, Joe Tizzone, (Olympus Imaging), vice-president, Professional, Robert Gatto (Kayell) and treasurer, Bruno Turcato (Epson) carry over. Dave Marshall (Fujifilm) and Clem Kennedy (CR Kennedy) also maintain their roles on the board.
This is the first time in the history of PICA/IDEA that Canon has not has representation on the IDEA board but as noted, a director’s position still remains vacant.
