Fujifilm Australia has announced a $200 Camera Cashback promotion with Fujfilm stockists on the Fujfilm X-E2 and X-Pro1 interchangeable lens models.
The promotion will run from August 1 to September 30. Cashback claims need to be registered by October 15 to receive the refund.
Photo store customers need to visit the Fujifilm website and when making their claim they agree by default to go onto a Fujifilm promotional database: ‘…by making a claim, unless otherwise advised by the claimant, each claimant consents to the information they submit with their claim being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the claimant.’
Customer details won’t be passed on to the retailer who has made the sales, so it’s important for retailers to collect their customer’s details at point of purchase.
‘The retailer simply sells the product. The promotion is independent of the retailer.’ Fujifilm said.
Camera purchasers need a scanned copy of their purchase receipt to claim the cashback. (Offering this service in store may provide an opportunity for retailers to consolidate their relationship with the customer.) The $200 refund will be transferred by Fujifilm via electronic fund transfer or cheque within 28 days.
