Melbourne distributor Maxxum, established earlier this year by long-standing photo industry executives Brian D’Arcy and Glenn Ward, has expanded with new appointments and new products.

Dinkum Systems clamping mounts will soon be available from Australian retailers.

Maxxum is now represented by agents in NSW, Qld, SA and WA and has appointed former Harvey Norman staffer Ilias Sintrikos as account manager for Victoria and Tasmania.

Mr Sintrikos will manage the photo and CE channels while sales director Glenn Ward continues to expand the Maxxum product portfolio.

Maxxum has also announced its appointment as distributor for Sirix universal battery chargers and Bheestie Bags, which remove moisture from mobile devices and cameras under the motto ‘drop it in, dry it out’. The Bheestie bags claim to work seven times faster than rice in drying out a wet phone or camera.

Maxxum has also flagged the pending local availability of a range of cases to suit action cameras such as the GoPro range, and an addition to flexible bracket/clamp options in the range from Dinkum Systems USA.

Maxxum also distributes Hama, Massa, Nanuk cases and Samyang lenses.
