One of the latest developments is a Guest Sign-in feature. This allows customers to start an order without having an account.  At the time they order, a customer can choose whether they would like to create an account or simply continue to place the order as a guest.

‘This new feature will ensure existing and new customers enjoy the same seamless experience while retailers will have access to more customer information through the Admin Site,’ said Tracy Lints, Photo Direct, Lifepics local partner.

Lifepics has around 70 Australian and New Zealand subscribers via Photo Direct, including the Ted’s Cameras retail group.

Lifepic provides a ‘white label’ solution that can be applied to private branded websites, mobile apps, tablet optimization, and kiosk integration, all of which funnel photo and personal print product orders to retail stores and labs for 1-hour service.

‘We have focused heavily in the past year on enhancing and expanding our service for our retail partners, providing additional revenue streams, profitable products, and connectivity to the technology of the present and future,’ the company stated in a press announcement.

‘Today’s consumers interact with images constantly, on numerous devices each day, so it is important to provide a solution for our retail partners that connects to all imaging channels, allowing their customers to more easily create and print photos and other imaging products at their stores.’

LifePics says that over the past 12 months it’s web platform has enjoyed 100 percent up-time through peak seasons, while it has doubled its development team with experts in both mobile and HTML5, and invested in unique designs and products that allow retailers to offer a wider variety of compelling photo and print merchandise.

‘Photo Direct has been representing Lifepics since introducing the brand into the Australia and New Zealand markets in 2008, so we have witnessed Lifepics growth first-hand and are pleased to have been able to bring significant new product and service developments for their Lifepics retailers over that time,’ said Tracy Lints.
