Brands Australia has announced a new entrant into the dynamic ‘action cam’ market, in the form of the AEE SD19, which is described as delivering the same performance levels as market leading GoPro cameras, ‘but with more in the box’.
The AEE SD19 camcorder has been designed to be waterproof to 60 metres (in accompanying waterproof casing), shake-proof and dustproof, while delivering 1080p/30 frames per second high definition recording.
Still shots with the AEE SD19 can be taken in either 3-, 5-, or 8-megapixel resolution.
The camera has 170 degree ultra wide-angle lens, 4x digital zoom, voice-activated recording, wireless remote control with a 15 metre reach, an external TFT screen player, built-in dual microphones and a ‘laser designator’ – a laser beam which indicates the precise point of the camera’s focus. It stores to micro SD card.

A distinguishing selling point for the SD19 is the generous inclusion of accessories required for most sports, including a clamp kit with mount for cages, handlebars and pipes, plus a suction mount car kit to ensure smooth and clear recording on or from any moving vehicle.
It carries an RRP of $299.95 and will be available in August
