February 17, 2011: Nikon Australia has announced the release of two new Coolpix L-series digital cameras; the L120 and the L23.
These latest models come with new features while maintaining the simple operation and functions associated with the L-series.
They feature AA batteries that can be purchased just about anywhere.
A successor to the Coolpix L110, the Coolpix L120 is a 14-megapixel, 21x zoom model. It features a side zoom control and flash pop-up button.
The camera is equipped with a 21x optical zoom Nikkor lens, covering a range of focal lengths from wide-angle 25mm through super-telephoto 525mm.
It also features a 3-inch 920-dot LCD monitor with wide viewing angle.
The Coolpix L23 is a $99 model with 10.1 megapixel sensor and enhanced automatic functions.
It has a 5x zoom Nikkor lens and an Easy Auto shooting mode makes this compact camera extremely easy to operate, even for beginners.
The camera also features a 2.7-inch, 230k-dot (QVGA) TFT LCD monitor.
The Coolpix L23 is available in black and pink at an RRP of $99, while the Coolpix L120 is available in black and red, with an RRP of $299.
