August 18, 2011: Maxwell International has announced a selection of stylish and inexpensive compact video camera cases from Lowepro.
The Santiago range provides stylish hard-shell protection for pocket video cameras (DV 25) and and compact video cameras (DV 35 – pictured right).
A hard, ribbed shell with EVA foam padding ensures maximum protection and inside, an elasticised keeper strap secures hardware and the soft brushed lining protects the LCD screen and lens from scratches. Other features include an interior slip pocket for convenient memory card storage, dual zipper pulls, a low-profile belt loop and detachable shoulder strap.
RRPs are is $28 for the Santiago DV25 and $34 for the DV 35.
The Digital Video Case 20 is compatible with most-popular models of pocket video cameras. A durable outer nylon helps safeguard digital devices from dust and abrasion while on the inside, an interior divider adjusts easily to fit a wide variety of models in the case, and a reinforced panel provides impact-resistant protection for LCD screens. Other features are an interior pocket for spare memory or batteries and the quick-access design allows fast access from the top.
RRP is $19.95. Available in black, blue and purple.
The Vail 10 is made from reinforced, cushioned neoprene for impact-resistant protection in a stretch-to-fit design. The reinforced and lined inside panel protects the LCD screen from dust and scratches and the convenient Quick Clip attachment secures the pouch to a camera strap, or loop/strap on another bag.
