Maxwell International has ramped up promotional activity for two of its ‘marquee brands’ – Tamron and Lowepro – with a high-value Tamron consumer promotion and an all-new website for premium Lowepro products.
Owners and aspiring owners of professional standard Lowepro bags now have a dedicated Australian website – Loweprofessionals Xtras (LPX) (www.lpx.com.au) where purchasers of Lowepro’s top end products can enjoy a range of member benefits which include:
– LPX Rapid Exchange Warranty providing rapid turnaround for pros who need support with their bags;
– Private LPX Facebook group for conversations with Australian commercial photographers who are world leaders in their respective fields;
– Discounted attendance at events, seminars and workshops;
– ‘Ask the Product Guru’ any Lowepro question.
With the purchase of a premium Lowepro bag, including the new Pro Messenger and Roller Lite ranges (see separate story) customers can register at www.lpx.com.au and start enjoying the benefits.
‘We think the Rapid Exchange Warranty will be a hit with professionals,’ said Maxwell marketing manager, Brendan Lee. ‘In most cases, customers will have their bags back in days rather than weeks. Lowepro pro bags are covered by a limited lifetime warranty and with the Rapid Exchange innovation, if there is a fault, we will immediately send out a new bag.
‘LPX members will also have the opportunity to trial our new designs to see how they suit their needs.’
The new site features Tips and Tricks from Lowepro Ambassadors Rocco Ancora, Jack Atley, Shelton Muller, Chris Bray and Glynn Lavender.
Tamron ‘Shoot To Thrill
Maxwell is supporting Tamron via a new ‘Shoot to Thrill’ competition, with a top prize of a trip to South Africa worth $20,000.
To win the holiday and other prizes such as Lowepro bags and fun travel e-books, entrants have to say in 25 words or less, ‘Why you find photography thrilling’.
‘Shoot to Thrill’ is actually two separate competitions under one umbrella, as there is also the chance to win the much-awarded Tamron 18 – 270mm lens by uploading their ‘Shoot to Thrill’ photos online.
