April 20, 2011: IPS has been appointed as a Camera House Australia ‘preferred supplier’ for silver halide paper, in addition to the established supplier relationship for chemistry.
To celebrate the appointment, the specialist independent retailer supplier is offering a bundle comprising IPS ‘Fighting Paper’ (gloss only) and CPAC chemistry, which will enable retailers to produce 6×4-inch prints at a net paper and chemistry cost of 5.6 cents.
This provides opportunities to offer a ‘value’ alternative for lab owners or respond to the price point pressure from mass merchants affiliated with Fujifilm.
Until now, Fujifilm has been the exclusive preferred silver halide paper supplier to Camera House members.
Camera House members welcomed the offer at the recent half-yearly AGM conference in Coolum.
Purchases are not tied to any volume requirements, but members are asked for a rolling three-month commitment to manage supply.
