Canon scholarship fund keeps on giving

June 8, 2011: Each year the Canon Honours Scholarship is awarded to a student accepted into the University of Sydney Marketing Honours program who the Faculty of Economics and Business believes demonstrates the greatest academic proficiency.

Ali Kriz, 22 (pictured right with Canon’s David Klineberg) has been announced this year’s winner.

The Canon Honours Scholarship fund was established in 2003, and consists of a donation of $100,000 from Canon Australia to the University of Sydney to create a continuing $6000 annual bursary.

Canon says the scholarship is putting its belief in innovation into action, by helping foster imaginative thinking in Australia’s workforce of tomorrow.

Ms Kriz has just begun her post-graduate honours in Marketing and has already begun planning her thesis, which will look at a newly emerging model for innovation in businesses.
