June 2, 2011: Adeal has acquired a new distributorship, Black Rapid straps, expanding the pool of accessory options available to Australian retailers.
Black Rapid products are purpose-designed straps for use with photographic gear. The range of 19 ergonomic straps can be used for suspending multiple cameras, contain pockets for memory cards, phones, etc.
They are wearable for long periods and suit the demands of a professional, ‘in-the-field’ environment, allowing the photographer movement and functionality with all their equipment.
Black Rapid is ideal for situations where the photographer cannot keep returning to a camera bag for an extra camera, and needs to have them at the ready. The system was started by a professional photographer who knew there had to be a solution to the usual painful and cumbersome tangle of
cameras and straps that would accompany him on a typical assignment.
The relationship with the USA brand complements Adeal’s comprehensive line-up of photographic accessories. The range, available from mid-June, incorporates variations of wearable strap systems and add-on accessories so the photographer is able to customise a system depending on what they are shooting with at the time.
Black Rapid will be on show at the Adeal stand at the PMA Imaging and Entertainment Expo at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre (June 25 – 26).
