November 2, 2010: Cisco has announced a new range of its popular Flip Video shoot-and-share pocket video cameras, coming onto the market this month.
The new UltraHD and MinoHD video cameras are now equipped with integrated image stabilisation and support a higher frame rate for better video quality. Pre-loaded FlipShare software now features direct uploading to Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, along with the ability to grab still images from video. A Magic Movie button lets users compile movies from multiple video clips.
The MinoHD 8GB video camera (RRP $279.95) will be offered in silver and enables users to record up to two hours of HD video. The MinoHD 4GB (RRP $229.95) comes in black and can record one hour of HD video. The Flip Video UltraHD 2 (RRP $279.95) has been reengineered with a new smaller and sleeker form factor and can use either rechargeable or AAA batteries.
