November 16, 2010: Maxwell International has released a new Joby ‘Gorillamobile’ for iPhones that takes advantage of the expanded picture-taking functionality of the iPhone 4.
The iPhone 4 incorporates digital zoom, built-in LED flash, a display-side camera and HD video.
The Gorillamobile for iPhone 4 is designed to quickly position an iPhone at any angle to view video, browse the web or flick through photo collections. Joby also markets Gorillapods for iPods and earlier iPhone models.
The flexible, wrappable legs allow for more video creativity, while the tripod also helps capture sharper stills.
The screw-thread adapter included allows the new Gorillamobile to be used as a tripod for a compact digital as well.
